I've used a number of privately-developed tools for Microsoft PCs. And I've just uninstalled another one, and refuse to ever use it again.
Why? Because its installer installed a browser hijacker on my workstation.
Hypersnap was my friend for years. And now it's gone. I'm not interested in sorting through its horrible installer offering to install malware on my workstation. I'm simply not interested.
It's not worth the effort. Either do what you say you're gonna do, or don't. But don't lie about it and install crap on my machine.
